ABOUT SARAH HARRIS & SARAH HUNSTEAD
You might know Sarah Harris for her witty Instagram posts or as someone who tells body shamers exactly where to go, but no matter how you know her, this chance for an intimate brunch to hear from her directly is not to be missed. Harris grew up in western Sydney and was educated in Queensland – her journalism career kicked off in 1997 and over the last twenty-something years she’s grown from young cadet to experienced host and world-record pumpkin smasher. Mum of two boys and wrangler of Studio 10 guests (and panellists), Sarah will share what it’s like to be a journalist, TV presenter and a woman all at once.
Joining her will be the author of ‘A Life. A Finger. A Pea Up a Nose’, Sarah Hunstead. Sarah started her career as an emergency paediatric nurse and this led her (via motherhood) to create CPR Kids, a range of classes taught by experienced nurses, midwives and clinicians. Her mission is to empower parents and carers to respond to babies and children in an emergency. It’s what gets her out of bed in the morning – knowing that the smallest action could have an effect that is literally life-changing or even life-saving for someone else. Her life as a mum of two girls is one you’ll be able to take a look into with host Mel Wilson of Kidspot.
Join Kylie and the Mum Society team and enjoy a fully catered brunch (including hot coffee) in the heart of Centennial Parklands. Onsite educators from Goodstart Early Learning can spend the morning with your little ones at no extra cost (RSVP essential).
This event is proudly brought to you by Children’s Panadol.
